Process for the purification of filtration membrane module and membrane bioreactor system for the treatment of raw or wastewater or activated sludge

For cleaning filtration membrane modules, which are used in the treatment of raw or wastewater or activated sludge, a cleaning tank is provided, in which the filtration membrane module to be cleaned is introduced. The circulating in the cleaning tank liquid contains the same particles as the reprocessed raw or waste water in the filtration tanks of a membrane bioreactor system. Raw, wastewater or activated sludge is first pretreated chemically-mechanically. Thereafter, the contaminated with biologically active material raw or wastewater is introduced into the membrane bioreactor system having a filtration device with at least one filtration tank. The filtration tank contains at least one submerged filtration membrane module. The raw or waste water in the filtration tank is filled with particles and circulated in the filtration tank. The particles are non-porous, biologically resistant polymer articles which ablate the lining located on the filter membrane outer surfaces, the so-called membrane fouling.
