The interface has a sea-link connected to a power supply system, and a high sea-battery ship/tanker transporting batteries i.e. flow batteries, by a vehicle e.g. lorry, for coupling a local high-voltage network by a high-voltage line. The sea-link takes power from the network on a producer side and stores the power in the batteries. The ship/tanker is unloaded at the sea-link on a consumer side and supplied in the network. A line voltage of the network is transformed to an operating voltage of the sea-link over a transformer station and transferred to a direct current by a thyristor-converter.
