The valve has outer ports (A, B, P, R, S) arranged on a valve housing (1). An internal and axially adjustable valve slide (2) changes compressed air flow between the ports. Axially spaced sealing rings (4a-4f) i.e. O-rings, are arranged for dynamic sealing between the slide and the housing. The rings are tangentially inserted in respective retaining grooves (3) with parallel groove edges. The rings are pre-stressed by an annular chamber (5) formed between the grooves and the rings. The chamber is pressurized with compressed air during the change of the air flow.
