The pneumatic seat valve has a sealing ring (3), which cooperates with an associated housing-sided valve seat (4,5) in an end position. The sealing ring is held on a cone plate (6) formed on the switching plunger (2). The force (F1) exerted on the sealing ring presses on a conical surface (7) of the cone plate such that the force is expanded for flexible length compensation in the end position in the direction (F2) of the conical surface. The sealing ring is made of elastomer material.
