The cooking device (1) has an oven (5) with multiple electrically conductive withdrawable holders (10) that defines a withdrawable level. An electrically conductive slot is inserted in each withdrawable level. A capacitive allocation sensor is positioned at a viewing window at every withdrawable level for recording the allocation of respective withdrawable level. Every capacitive allocation sensor has an electrode (20) imprinted on a surface of a glass panel (14). An independent claim is included for a method for contactless recognition of allocation of withdrawable levels.
