The method involves accommodating an axle carrier, a suspension subframe and an integral carrier (16) by a robot (12). The axle carrier, suspension subframe and the integral carrier are guided into pressing devices. Individual bearing components (26, 30, 32, 34) are pressed into a recess of the axle carrier, suspension subframe and the integral carrier. The components are guided and pressed till the bearing components are pressed into the axle carrier, suspension subframe and integral carrier. The pressing devices are used with changeable press stamps. An independent claim is also included for a device for pressing bearing components into an axle carrier, suspension subframe and integral carrier for a motor vehicle.
