The system (20) has a set of connecting supports (21) holding side edges of solar modules (10). A set of carrier supports (22, 23) is provided for the connecting supports, and is arranged at ends of one of the connecting supports, where the system is fastened at a subsurface (30) by the carrier supports. The solar module lies at the connecting supports along an entire length of each side edge, where the connecting supports are provided with a lug and a terminal strip. The supports form surfaces for the solar modules.
