The honeycomb-like body has a front surface (63), which is inclined at a downward opened angle opposite to the front surface of the bumper. A groove (68) opened in a front direction is formed in a middle of a cross-section of the honeycomb body and has a wedge-like tapered cross-section in a rear surface (62) of the honeycomb body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a deformation component.
