The endoscope (1) has a video camera (9) and a cable (10) enclosed by a system pipe (6) and arranged in an fiber tube (4) such that a distal end of the tube is closed by a window (5) and an electrical heating ring (11) is arranged at an inner side of the window. The ring is pressed against an inner surface of the window by a spring (13) i.e. disk spring. The spring is supported against the pipe. The ring, the spring and the system pipe from the fiber tube are detachably arranged in proximal direction such that the system pipe is supported at a proximal end against the endoscope.
