The device comprises an ultrasonic producer (1), a container (2) for receiving liquid smoke and/or other liquid aromatizing media, and a flow producer (9). The container comprises an air inlet (4) arranged below or above the level of liquid, and an aerosol outlet (5). Air is injected and/or sucked into/from a flow-technically optimized expansion chamber (3) via the air inlet, so that the aerosol is fed via the aerosol outlet by developed pressure difference. The ultrasonic producer possesses ultrasonic membrane. The aerosol producer is protected from dry running by a safety cut-out. The level of liquid is electronically and/or electromechanically monitored and controlled. The container is embodied as multiple components. A lower part of the partial container is removably arranged so it is emptied, cleaned, filled and replaced outside of the function group. The sealing function is implemented by a sufficient overlapping of the container parts below the level of liquid, the liquid smoke and/or other liquid aromatizing media. The container, the inlet and/or outlet are provided with air and/or aerosol guide element. The flow producer is connected by a hose and/or a tube connection with the container. The connection from the container to the flow producer is provided with barrier component or with barrier-like shape in such a manner so that, in case of failure, the flow producer does not leak the aerosol from the expansion chamber by the air inlet and/or tube inlet. A heater is integrated for heating the liquid smoke and/or other liquid aromatizing media by over-dimensioning of the ultrasonic producer. The flow production is carried out by a separate aerator. The aerosol producer is fastened to the aerosol target area by an inlet to cover the air supply.
