摘要

The method involves setting a flow-molded passage (10) by using an industrial robot under formation of a shroud (22) in a thin sheet metal component (12), and arranging a component (32) in an assembly position. The sheet metal component is connected with the component (32) by a self-ridged screw (34), which has a larger diameter than the passage. The sheet metal component is made of steel, aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a larger part of material in a bore hole (16) is heated up to flowability by heating the sheet metal component using frictional heat of a flow molding tool.
