The system (10) has an inlet heating element divided into zones and arranged in an inlet and comprising a resistance heating element with N zones e.g. tension reduction zones, and M sub zones, where M is a whole number larger than one. A control module selectively activates one of the N zones to release regeneration in downstream of a part of an electrically heated particle material filter by the zone, and deactivates other N zones. The N zones are arranged in a middle part, and a circulating part is provided radially outside the middle part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a diesel internal-combustion engine system.
