The product has a robot (10) including a robot arm (14), and thermo-reversible dry adhesive (12) secured to the robot arm. The thermo-reversible dry adhesive comprises a shape memory polymer layer (18) and dry adhesive layer (16) underlying the shape memory polymer layer. A rigid epoxy i.e. aromatic epoxy, includes two epoxide groups, and a flexible epoxy i.e. aliphatic epoxy, and a cross-linking agent is selected from multi-amine, organic multi-carboxylic acid or anhydride. An independent claim is also included for a method for moving an object.
