The arrangement (10) has an excenter (28) provided for adjusting a relative position of a light (12) i.e. rear light, to a rough component (14). An external circumference of the excenter cooperates with an edge (34) of the rough component. A guiding unit (18) i.e. screw, is provided for adjusting the light relative to the rough component in a vertical direction (26) of a motor vehicle. Stop elements are provided at the light and/or the rough component, where the stop elements are provided in attachment with an edge area of the rough component and/or the light in a target position. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a light at a rough component of a body for a motor vehicle.
