The device has a transport roller (32) arranged stationary at a housing of a printing plate changing device (16), and another transport roller (31) adjustably arranged at the housing. A spring element i.e. tension spring, adjusts the transport roller (31) to the transport roller (32), and a double-acting actuator i.e. cylinder, operates against an adjusting force of the spring element for turning the transport roller (31) from the transport roller (32), where the adjusting force of the spring element is strengthened by applying pressure of a work space of the actuator.
