The method involves moving wheels in an opposite direction to each other from a discrete current position until an actuator has reached an end stop. Another actuator is held by the former actuator by reaching the end stop, and setting of an end stop position in the former actuator is taken place. Evaluation and determination are made by a controller to find whether reverse driving of the wheels is performed in a straight position of the wheels during driving of a motor vehicle.
