A water chamber (32) has a flow connection (42) and a return connection (44) for a water circulation, and is subdivided into two flow paths (36, 38) thermally coupled with different zones of the combustion chamber. The flow paths are arranged one behind another over a connection section (48) that is provided with a return connection (58). A return line (16) is arranged between the flow connection (42) and the return connection (58).
