The wall (B) has a retaining device (1) provided with a multi-part profiled rail (13), which has a support profile (16) accommodating a plate (2), and a base profile (17) accommodating the support profile. The support profile is clamped and springed at both sides opposite to the base profile by clamping spring elements (KF1, KF2). A form-fit active blocking device (BK) is arranged between the support profile and the base profile and blocks the support profile during loading of the plate by lifting from the base profile. The blocking device extends over entire length of the wall.
