Rotary piston machine arrangement for e.g. compression of gas, has bearings for mounting hollow shafts at ends opposite to workspace, where ends receive both radial and axial forces to stably hold shafts between bearing brackets
The arrangement has homogeneous, externally running hollow shafts (6, 7) arranged in a mirror-symmetrical and consecutive manner on a common firmly standing hollow axle. Cylinder halves (6a, 7a) are fixed at ends of the shafts, respectively, and form a workspace (5). Bearings (10, 11) are used for mounting the shafts at the ends opposite to the workspace. The ends receive both radial and axial forces to stably hold the hollow shafts between bearing brackets (12, 13). Gliding materials are provided to friction and sealing surfaces on basis of Teflon(RTM: PTFE), carbon or bronze.
