The seal i.e. lip-seal (3), has a base body (3c) including end-sided sealing lips (3a, 3b). The base body lies on a contact surface (C) of a piston, along width of a front surface (B) of the base body. Width (B') of the seal in an area of the lips corresponds to distance between two parallel sealing surfaces (5, 6). The width (B') is larger than the front surface. Width of the base body in an area of the front surface corresponds to the distance. The width of the front surface is increased by outwardly extending stripping lips (3a1, 3b1).
