The structured strip creates a mesh impression on one or both surfaces of a wood-material board during or after its production. This strip runs round with one or both of the endless steel belts lying against the material being pressed. The structured strip, which is in the form of a woven metal strip, is positively bonded to one or both of the steel belts.
