PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that noise is recognized at the time of an increased gain and changing points of a signal are recognized.;SOLUTION: A high accuracy component in m-bit length being the quantization accuracy of an n-bit length digital signal or below is reproduced on the basis of the digital signal. Then the reproduced high accuracy component is attached to lower-order bits of the n-bit length digital signal to produce a digital signal in (n+m) bit-length. Consequently, information of the original signal is conserved as a rule and the high accuracy component with the quantization accuracy or below of the original signal is reproduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
