The magnetic memory has magnetic substance (110) composed of a disc-shaped magnetic layer and a ring-shaped magnetic layer formed on disc-shaped magnetic layer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabricating magnetic memory; (2) a method for recording in magnetic memory; and (3) a method for reading out from magnetic memory.
