The catalytic coating useful for automobile industries to purify exhaust fumes, comprises nanoparticles (5) having a core and an envelope in a metal or oxide with catalytic properties. The nanoparticles are deposited on a support for forming a catalytic layer of impregenation. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of manufacturing nanoparticles; (2) a process of manufacturing a catalytic coating; and (3) a catalytic reactor.
