The bed has a frame (2) i.e. lower frame, equipped with roulette wheels (3-1, 3-2) presenting brakes (4). Motor units (5) allow a centralized control of the brakes to block or unblock the roulette wheels via a mechanical transmission, where the units are constituted by an electric cylinder (5-1). The transmission has a control rod (6) pivoted on a longitudinal axis to block and unblock the brakes. A lever (7) is rigidly connected to the rod and activated in rotation by the cylinder. The cylinder is pivotingly articulated with respect to the lever and the frame along pivot axes.
