The device has an exhaust gas recirculation circuit (4) comprising a cooler (40) and an exhaust gas recirculation gate (41) placed in a pipe (122), where the pipe directs exhaust gas towards the circuit to be reinjected in an intake pipe (11) and in the upstream of a compressor (21). Circular shaped valves (51, 52) are pivotingly mounted in series in another pipe (121) situated in an exhaust line such that the valves occupy closing and opening positions, where circular surface of the valves is perpendicular and parallel to a symmetrical axis of the pipe (121).
