The seat has a sub plate (2) supporting a base (1) of the seat. A fixed slide (4) is fixed on the plate and extends transversely to a longitudinal axis of a vehicle. A rail (5) slides in the slide in a cross direction between a rolling position where the rail is in a major part of the slide and a sliding position where the major part of the rail is removed from the slide of a side of the plate. A sliding slide (7) is integrated to the base and slides on the rail such that a major part of the slide (7) is removed from the rail in a same direction as that of the rail removed from the slide (4).
