The iron has a heating member installed in an installation space. A switch valve connects a steam output portion (33) with a pair of steam outlets (14, 15). The heating member defines a steam chamber (24) by an interconnect section of a water input portion and the steam output portion. The steam chamber includes a heat conducting structure (27) for improving a steam output. The heating member and a bottom plate (12) constitute another steam chamber (26). One of the steam outlets is arranged on the bottom plate in the steam chamber (26).
