The device (1) has an applying unit (8) defining an application surface (9), and a support (7) carrying the applying unit. The support comprises a chimney (17) extending partially inside a tubular wall (34) of the applying unit, where the chimney is connected with a reservoir (3) containing a product that is applied to human keratin matter. An elastomer valve (20) is fixed on the chimney, and includes a hole that opens under pressure of the product in the reservoir. The chimney is opened directly into the reservoir or through the valve.
