The object (10) has a display pack presented in the form of a case (11) provided with a bottom (12), side walls (13a-13d) and a cover (14). The case includes a mineral compound fragment i.e. rock fragment (15), mounted on the bottom, where the rock fragment is maintained in a ridge tile zone of a mountain peak. A base of the rock fragment is fixed in a layer (16) of mineral particles e.g. grits (17), where the particles are integrated to each other and to the bottom of the case by a link e.g. synthetic adhesive, synthetic resin or silica gel. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a decorative object.
