The antenna has a high power amplifier e.g. vacuum tube, including an active amplification element (125) arranged on a source arm (12) and a supply block for supplying the amplification element and arranged on outer side of the source arm. A parabolic reflector (10) and the source arm are movable mounted with respect a base (2) between a utilization position and a storage position. The amplification element is arranged on the source arm to occupy a part of space formed by a parabolic curvature of the reflector in the storage position.
