The box (1) has a lower receptacle (2) and a detachable closing lid (3) mounted relative to each other for forming a closed cover defining an interior volume (7) for receiving a commodity. An exterior tab (13) is articulated by a hinge (14) to the closed cover so as to be displaced between a position in which the tab is lowered in front of or along a side (5) of the receptacle, and another position in which the tab is placed at a distance from the side.
