The sunroof has an opening and a cover (6) which is adjustable to a ventilation position. A rear edge (8) of the cover is exposed over the roof surface and is displaced forward opposite to the opening. A front edge (10) of the cover is raised over the roof surface for adjusting in the ventilation position, and is displaced forward over the roof surface. A sealing provided at the front edge lies on the roof surface.
