The garment e.g. sweater (1), has an extensible elastic parts (20, 21, 48) arranged with respect to articulation parts such as shoulders and torso, of a body, respectively. A rectangular extensible elastic part is arranged with respect to an articulation part e.g. back, of the body. The extensible parts are extended like base fabric of the garment in principal movement direction of the articulation parts, respectively, where the thickness of each extensible part is higher than the thickness of the base fabric. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a garment.
