The table (1) has a rectangular table top (2) with edges (4) respectively connected to bases of flaps (5), where each flap is pivotingly mounted along the corresponding edge of the table top. The flaps are moved between a folded position in which the flaps extend in a plane of the table top and a raised position in which the flaps are arranged in pairs in an adjacent manner. Lateral edges of the flaps are equipped with removable fixation units i.e. zip fasteners (9), to fix the adjacent lateral edges of the flaps with each other, where the table top and the flaps are made up of sheet metal.
