The fitting unit comprises a hinge square with four hinge axes (A,B,C,D), which has a short base piece (10) and a shorter flap piece (11). Two long connecting pieces (12,13) are provided. The base piece is fixed planar to a flap (1) at an inclining angle of 45 degree to the table and to the flap piece. The flap piece takes dead-center position in open or closed position with one or both the connecting pieces.
