The method involves ensuring management and regulation of operation of fluorescent tubes using electronic devices of a luminaire, where the tubes are constituted of glass bulbs. The energy is distributed to terminals of the tubes in the form of current pulse burst or serial current pulse of alternative polarity, without passing the pulse through inductive or capacitive elements, when the tubes are ionized. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a luminaire for fluorescent tubes (2) an electrical power supply for fluorescent tubes.
