The mold (22) has a lower block (24) covered with a skin (8') and an upper block (26) including a substrate provided with a rib (12) whose edge (20) is provided in contact with a surface (18) of the skin in a closed position of the mold. The block (24) has a groove (30) that is arranged opposite to the edge. A sealing joint (34) made of elastomer material i.e. silicone elastomer, is placed in the groove and is projected outside the groove. The joint is covered with the skin and is compressed by the skin in the closed position of the mold. An independent claim is also included for an injection molding press comprising a foaming mold.
