The device has a spiral shaped strap (1) surrounding an element i.e. young plant, and comprising a free end and a hinge. The strap includes a surface with a set of teeth encased in another set of teeth that are located on a face opposite to the strap. The strap has a fixation unit fixed to a support i.e. wire, comprising two jaws, where one of the jaws comprises a recess and other jaw comprises a boss. The boss is inserted through the recess, where the boss includes a support guiding groove. The boss hooks the support against the latter jaw when the jaws are placed one against the other.
