The articulation has an elastomer material friction lining (5) partially forming a wall for two hydraulic fluid chambers (6). The chambers are housed in respective free spaces (E1, E3), where the chambers communicate with each other through a channel (30). The channel extends in a free space (E2) disjointing from the free spaces (E1, E3) housing the chambers. The channel occupies a radial distance (D) between a window or cage (2) e.g. rings, and an external sleeve (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a hydro-elastic articulation.
