The method involves storing geographical position information of shops that stores products. The information of quantity of the products in each shop is automatically stored in real time by connection to commercial management software of the shop. A product searching request including geographical zone information is received. The shops in the geographical zone are searched, where the quantity of the products in the shops is greater than one. A response to the request is sent, where the response contains a list of found shops. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a sever for locating a product searched by a user in a geographical zone (2) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing a product locating method.
