Products Searching and Locating Service System in iPhone Operating System Mobile Using Europe Article Number Barcode and Global Positioning System Technology

The barcode technology has emerged across the globe followed by mammoth barcode scan mobile applications that identify and search the products. Some applications provide outdated information, and some do not provide retail store information. This service system facilitates to the user the search of a product through a search bar and barcode scanning of the product. The admin can add items by scanning the barcode of the product, and to enter detailed product information such as product name, image; brand name, category, and price. The admin can enter the information of the retail store such as name and location of the retail store. The user can search the product by entering the specific keyword or can scan the barcode of the product through the smartphone's camera. The system follows Europe Article Number (EAN) barcode technology for the identification of the items. The database server acts as a back-end system of the application that stores complete record. The service system facilitates to users the locating of a product store on the map, where users can aptly buy their searched product. The system follows GPS technology in finding an accurate location of the retail store.
