Fuel supply controlling method for internal combustion engine e.g. oil engine, of automobile, involves injecting fuel flows after regulating richness during regeneration of sulfur products of nitrogen oxide trap
The method involves determining a cylinder richness reference input (Rcyl) and a global richness reference input (Rtot). An exhaust richness reference input (Repi) is determined based on the input (Rtot). The input (Repi) and/or the input (Rcyl) are coveted into an exhaust flow setpoint (Qepi) and/or flow set point of cylinder, respectively. Fuel flows corresponding to the exhaust flow setpoint and the set point of cylinder is injected, after regulating the richness during the regeneration of sulfur products of a nitrogen oxide trap. An independent claim is also included for a device for controlling supply of a fuel to an exhaust line of an internal combustion engine comprising a nitrogen oxide trap.
