The system (100) has a light source constituted by LEDs (101) producing luminous rays (102). Division units constituted by an oblique surface (112) forming a ring at a light guide (104) divide the rays produced by the LEDs into a light beam (106) contributing to realization of a main optical function (107) and a light beam (108) contributing to realization of a decorative function. The optical function is constituted by a stoplight function or a turn signal lamp function. The decorative function is realized by propagation of the beam (108) in an output glass to form a light curtain (111).
