The device i.e. cord (1), has a case (2) including a mobile element (8) disengaged from an orifice (7) by a maneuvering unit i.e. push button (10), associated to an elastic return element i.e. spring (12), to allow a passage of an end stop (5) i.e. bead. The stop exerts force on the element under an action of a spiral return spring (4), where the force is higher than force exerted by a torsion spring (9) that withdraws the element so as to rewind entire length of the cord without blocking at the level of the stop.
