The device has edge profile strips (2) opened toward an inlet side for insertion of a solar module (1). Edge clips (3) are arranged with an overlay tongue portion (4). The solar module between the edge profile strips covers a rear handle portion and a rear handle surface of the edge profile strips. Edge connectors comprise a spring leg equipped in a lengthwise direction along a longitudinal direction. A retreat unit i.e. tension spring, exerts pull back force in minimal length of the spring leg. The overlay tongue portion is connected with a side wall portion to the edge clips.
