The panel (1) has a decorative element (3) digitally printed or screen-printed on a translucent or transparent plate (2) or on a support placed against the plate. A protection unit constituted by a simple or double face sticker film is affixed between the plate and the element or after the element and a back surface of the plate. A rear part (4) is placed in strips on the back surface or the element. The rear part is constituted by a wooden facing, and the plate is made of single-pane safety glass or extruded acrylic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an impermeable decorative panel.
