The device has an enclosure with upper and lower covers (1, 2) that are vertically displaced by a pneumatic jack between open and closed positions. A support plate (6) and a soldering head (7) are respectively mounted in a detachable manner on the lower cover to support a container and on the upper cover. A back plate (76) is supported against a free edge (13) of the upper cover in separated and soldering positions of the head such that the back plate is intercalated between the upper cover and the lower cover that is provided with the support unit in the closed position of the covers.
