The winch has a winding drum comprising a central splined shaft (1), and two flanges (2, 3) whose hubs (2a, 3a) are splined for receiving the shaft. A winding tube has a tubular section (7) with ends provided with an axial relief i.e. recess (8), cooperating with a complementary relief i.e. pin (5), that is carried by one of the flanges. An axial maintaining unit maintains the flanges against the drum and is formed by a frame with two supports (9, 10) of the drum in rotation, where the supports are connected with respect to each other by calibrated long spacer bars (14, 15).
