The package has a base on which food e.g. eclair, is provided, where the base is equipped with two stampings that form a hollow cavity. A cover (6) covers the food provided on the base. Vertical bracing units (13) hold the food between the cover and the base, where the units are coincided partially with an end piece of the food to hold the endpiece of the food. Two lateral walls (11) of the cover are equipped with a bulge directed towards an interior of the package.
